**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounting Support**:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Maintain and update accounting records (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger).
- Perform routine reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and transactions.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
- Process invoices and payments for vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Prepare and send customer invoices; follow up on overdue accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies or issues.
- **Tax & Compliance Assistance**:
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure adherence to local and national tax regulations.
- Support in audits by gathering necessary documentation and providing needed reports.
- **Reporting**:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for management.
- Support in the creation of financial forecasts and projections.
- Provide financial data and insights to department heads for budget planning.
- **Process Improvement**:
- Assist in improving financial processes to ensure efficient accounting operations.
- Identify areas for potential cost savings or optimization within financial workflows.
- **Data Entry & Document Management**:
- Maintain financial files and records, ensuring proper documentation is in place for all transactions.
- Perform accurate data entry and data management tasks as required.
- **Communication & Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial queries and discrepancies.
- Provide assistance to senior accountants and managers when necessary.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- **Experience**: 1 to 2 years of experience in financial administration, accounting, or a related area.
- **Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, Tally and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
