**Job Title**: Purchase Incharge
**Reports To**: Operations Manager / Managing Director
**Location**: Vedanayagam Hospital, R S puram, Coimbatore.
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Planning and Execution**:

- Develop and execute procurement plans based on operational needs and forecasts.
- Source, negotiate, and finalize orders with suppliers for materials and services.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to avoid operational delays.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain healthy relationships with existing vendors to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Monitor supplier performance based on delivery, quality, and pricing criteria.
- **Cost Control and Negotiation**:

- Negotiate contracts and purchase agreements to secure the best value.
- Regularly review market trends and pricing strategies to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor and manage slow-moving and obsolete stock to minimize waste.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor details, and transaction histories.
- **Cross-Department Collaboration**:

- Work closely with production, finance, and operations teams to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Address and resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, defective products, or supplier discrepancies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Hospital Industry-specific experience is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Procurement cost savings percentage.
- Supplier on-time delivery rate.
- Inventory turnover ratio.
- Compliance with procurement policies.
- Reduction in procurement cycle time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
