Key responsibilities might include:
**Developing automated test scripts**:
Creating and maintaining robust automated tests for Salesforce functionalities using JavaScript and Selenium WebDriver, targeting various Salesforce components like custom objects, pages, and workflows.

**Test case design**:
Collaborating with business analysts and developers to identify test scenarios, design effective test cases, and prioritize test execution based on risk analysis.

**Framework development**:
Contributing to and maintaining a comprehensive automated testing framework for Salesforce, including test data management, reporting, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

**API testing**:
Utilizing Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) to perform automated testing of backend functionalities and data interactions.

**Defect management**:
Identifying, logging, and tracking defects discovered during testing in a defect management system.

**Performance testing**:
Required skills:
**Strong JavaScript proficiency**:
Extensive experience in JavaScript programming, including object-oriented concepts and DOM manipulation.

**Selenium WebDriver**:
Expertise in using Selenium WebDriver for browser automation to interact with Salesforce UI elements.

**Salesforce knowledge**:
Deep understanding of Salesforce platform features, including custom objects, fields, workflows, triggers, and Lightning components.

**Test automation frameworks**:
Familiarity with popular test automation frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cucumber) and their integration with Selenium.

**API testing**:
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools to validate Salesforce backend functionality.

**CI/CD integration**:
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices and ability to integrate automated tests into the pipeline.

Desired skills:
**Provar experience**:
Familiarity with Salesforce-specific test automation tools like Provar can be a significant advantage.

**Salesforce certifications**:
Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Developer) demonstrate in-depth Salesforce knowledge.

**Agile methodologies**:
Experience working in Agile development environments and understanding of associated testing practices.
