Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce QA Tester with over 7 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce testing and strong proficiency with JIRA and Zephyr for test management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, ensuring the quality and functionality of Salesforce implementations, and contributing to the overall success of the QA process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across Salesforce platforms and integrated systems.
  • Validate and test customizations, workflows, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Utilize JIRA for defect tracking, requirement mapping, and Agile task management.
  • Use Zephyr for JIRA (or other test management tools) to plan, manage, and report test cycles.
  • Develop automated test scripts (if applicable) using tools like Selenium, Provar, or TestComplete (optional but preferred).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Document test results, identify bugs, and drive resolutions with the development team.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing, with at least 35 years in Salesforce Testing.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and platform capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and Zephyr (or similar test management tools like TestRail or QTest).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proficient in writing complex test scenarios, including negative and edge case testing.
  • Ability to perform data validation using SOQL and Salesforce Workbench or Developer Console.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce deployments, sandboxes, and release management.
  • Familiarity with APEX testing and code coverage requirements (not mandatory but beneficial).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.)
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Git.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
