POSITION TITLE: Summer 2026 Intern - Finance Operations Associate

LOCATION: Hyderabad, India

ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Salesforce Finance organization includes a number of teams working together to maintain the Global accounting process and provide insight into the company’s financial performance with compliance of SOX Act. As a Finance Intern, you will have exciting opportunities to work directly with global teams to impact the present and future of Salesforce, with a particular focus on being familiar with GAAP accounting principles, driving Process Im, business partnering, and data-driven insights for Finance.

Produce technology capabilities, such as building simple automations for processes or tasks

Design analytical models (e.g., descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, or prescriptive models) to support better decision-making

Integrate data flows across multiple systems to streamline data retrieval and analysis

Assist in the creation and refinement of digital decision support tools, Learn to design, build, or maintain dashboards in business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to automate financial reporting and track key performance indicators (KPIs)

Contribute to initiatives involving advanced analytics, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI), to solve complex financial problems and enhance decision-making

Help in communicating data-driven insights through compelling storytelling and visualizations to various stakeholders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Currently in Pre final year(2nd year of 3 year Degree) of B.Com Accounting
- Completed and/or currently enrolled in coursework in accounting, corporate finance, economics, management, strategy, business operations, statistics, data analysis, or programming.
- Interest in pursuing a postgraduate career in accounting, business, finance, project management, data science, or technology-driven finance roles.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the willingness to speak in front of senior leaders and large groups.
- Intellectual curiosity, fueled by a proactive approach to continuously expand one’s skillset, particularly in digital technologies, data, and AI.
- Highly motivated, self-aware, collaborative, and responsive.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

- PowerPoint/Google Suite presentation building skills, with an aptitude for data storytelling and visualization to convey financial insights effectively.
- Complex and creative problem-solving abilities, including translating business requirements into data-driven or AI solutions.
- Must be comfortable with changing requirements and priorities.
- Passion for process improvement and challenging the status quo through technological innovation and automation.
- Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in completion of tasks.
- Must be results and service oriented and have a strong ability to make and communicate progress with incomplete information.
