**Job Summary**: The Purchase Assistant is responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure the timely acquisition of materials and services. This role involves handling float inquiries, obtaining quotes, comparing obtained quotes, generating purchase orders, following up on deliveries, and negotiating terms with suppliers for Mechanical, Electronic Components and SIM Management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Float Enquiry Management**:

- Initiate and manage float enquiries for required materials and services.
- Ensure accuracy in specifications and requirements provided to suppliers.
- **Quote Acquisition**:

- Obtain quotes from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Maintain a database of preferred suppliers and their offerings.
- **Quote Comparison**:

- Analyse and compare quotes based on price, quality, delivery time, and payment terms.
- Prepare detailed comparison reports for management review.
- **Purchase Order Generation**:

- Generate and process purchase orders based on approved quotes and internal requisitions.
- Ensure purchase orders are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- **Delivery Follow-Up**:

- Monitor and follow up on the delivery schedules of purchased items.
- Address any delivery issues or delays promptly to minimize impact on operations.
- **Negotiation**:

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favourable outcomes for the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for long-term collaboration.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
- Provide updates on procurement status and address any concerns promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in EEE/Mechatronics/Instrumentation with knowledge on Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Proven experience 1 to 2 years in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and purchasing software.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Work Environment**:

- Office-based with occasional travel to supplier locations as required.
- Possession of Two wheeler with valid license

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
