**Role Responsibility**:To ensure the on-time construction and publication of legal & efficient crew schedules for the airline.

The post holder will be key in delivering on the improved process within Crew Planning functions towards the end goal of bringing optimization and improving crew efficiency.

**Job Description - Crew Planner**
- Consults within team and stakeholder group to understand and document business needs and objectives, policies and procedures, problems, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in ensuring a smooth transition to new pairing and roster optimization systems by efficient implementation and stable in-house production
- Identify opportunities for improving operational performance through technology and/or other business changes.
- Perform system testing, health checks and assist in the preparation of proposals to implement or enhance systems and/or business changes
- Assist in developing and documenting business processes and policies for Crew Planning department and other relevant stakeholders
- Research and prepare statistical reports using data from existing systems and other means. Consolidate information into cohesive and understandable formats as applicable to the intended audience.
- Conduct change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and document business rules, functions and requirements.
- Participate in projects to determine feasibility, resolve problems including procedural, technical and fiscal research and analysis; develop policy and procedures to improve productivity, cost-effectiveness, and/or other metrics.
- Develop step by step documentation and conduct user trainings to support efficient operations and usage of systems.
- Generate, analyse and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports on various data.
- Standardise reports, processes and metrics across cabin crew and flight crew as appropriate.
- Assist in production of crew pairings and crew rosters using advanced optimisation tools.
- Keeping self-updated with regulatory requirements and ensuring system compliance to regulatory rules
