The Commis I - Indian Cuisine is responsible for preparing high-quality Indian dishes, ensuring proper portion control, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting senior chefs in the smooth operation of the kitchen. The role requires a solid understanding of traditional Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook Indian dishes (North and/or South Indian) as per menu specifications.
- Assist in mise en place for curries, tandoor, gravies, snacks, breads, and desserts.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as tandoor ovens, griddles, and fryers safely and effectively.
- Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Support Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure all food products are stored properly and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food stock and assist in inventory control when required.
- Report maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Indian cuisine preparation in a professional kitchen.
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and regional dishes.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
- Familiarity with HACCP and kitchen safety practices.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
