We are currently seeking a skilled Café Cook specializing in South Indian cuisine to join our team. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you'll play a key role in delivering authentic and delicious dishes that delight our customers and uphold our reputation for quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Menu Execution**: Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, rasam, chutneys, and other regional specialties.
- **Recipe Adherence**: Ensure adherence to authentic recipes and maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- **Ingredient Management**: Manage inventory and procurement of fresh ingredients, spices, and condiments essential for South Indian cuisine.
- **Food Safety**: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety protocols in the kitchen.
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate with kitchen staff to expedite orders and maintain smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- **Quality Assurance**: Conduct regular quality checks on food items to uphold standards and address any discrepancies promptly.
- **Customer Engagement**: Interact with customers to understand their preferences, accommodate special requests, and ensure a memorable dining experience.
- **Training**: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in South Indian cooking techniques and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- **Passion for South Indian Cuisine**: Deep understanding and appreciation for the diverse flavors and cooking techniques of South Indian cuisine.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in traditional South Indian cooking methods, such as tempering, grinding spices, and fermenting batters. Strong multitasking and time management skills are essential.
- **Communication**: Effective verbal communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and customer demands.
