**Job Description - Restaurant CaptainPosition**:
**Location**: Vashi, Navi Mumbai

**Reports To**: Restaurant Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising the service team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high operational standards. They act as a liaison between guests and staff, ensuring smooth service flow, handling guest concerns, and assisting in overall restaurant management.

**Key Responsibilities:Guest Service & Experience**:

- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure customers receive prompt and courteous service.
- Take orders, provide menu recommendations, and ensure special dietary requirements are met.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer queries.

**Operational Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of service staff.
- Assign and manage table sections efficiently to optimize service.
- Ensure tables are properly set up, clean, and well-maintained.
- Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to restaurant standards.
- Assist in training new staff on service standards and procedures.

**Sales & Upselling**:

- Promote and upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue.
- Suggest daily specials and new menu items to customers.
- Assist in managing reservations and seating arrangements.

**Inventory & Maintenance**:

- Ensure adequate availability of cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
- Monitor and report stock shortages to the management.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous experience as a Captain or Senior Waiter in a restaurant.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- English should be good.

**Education & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; degree/diploma in Hotel Management is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

**Working Conditions**:

- Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically active role requiring standing for long hours.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift
