**Designation**: Deputy Engineer

**Department**: Material Science

**Job Location**: Pimpri, Pune

**Experience**: 1-5 Years

**Education Qualification**: Technical Diploma (Elastomer)

**Work requirement/Project deliverables**:
Execute the testing as per the DVP/CTR for Chassis and Suspension Structure Elastic components.

**Elastomer part Durability testing**:

- Rig operations, Sine wave input and Time Series input (Amplitude in load or displacement), Test monitoring, recording, Report making, operations, Feedback and suggestion, inferences finding.

**Suspension part - Static and Dynamic performance**:

- Incoming quality GIN, and LTR clearance, Database maintenance with revision and comparative data presentation, Performing Rupture/ bond strength/ adhesion test, Creep of Str Elastomer Part, Accelerated Aging.
- Elastomer Material Characterization and Manufacturing Process and know-how and provide the inputs for the concern resolutions.
- Tensile, Tear, Sp. Gravity, Hardness, Heat aging deterioration, Fluid aging deterioration, Ozone test, Flexural testing, Compression set. Execute the testing-on-testing Rigs.
- Support for rig up keeping, Calibration and AMC, reduction in breakdown time etc.

**Failure analysis and finger printing of Elastomer**:

- Post analysis (Vehicle test parts), Field complaints investigations, Premature rig failure, DFMEA inputs and review.
- Reverse engineering material identification/FTIR, Thermal characterization TGA, DSC testing Support ICR, IPR, New technology projects, New Competency and Capability projects, IPTV reduction initiatives and Quality improvement programs.

**Support Outsourcing tests**:

- Documentation of RFQ, Quotation collection, Indent raising, Purchase order, Execution of test/ Witness at supplier end / Review periodically, Payment of invoice.

**Job Responsibility**:

- Conducting experiments for project deliverables, Supplier follow-up and timeline creation for project delivery.
- Design and Development the fixtures for Component level testing.
- Component and Vehicle Test data analysis for Elastomeric components.
- Operate various hydraulic and mechanical test equipment.
- Generate and maintain Material Data Library for Elastomers.

**Engineering Skills**:
**Primarily Skill**: Elastomer material and component Testing.

**Secondary Skill**: Vehicle Dynamics and data Analysis.

**Must have**:
Elastomer Material and Manufacturing Process knowledge.

**Preferred to have**:
Component Level Testing execution exposure. CAD/PRO-E exposure for fixture design.

**Work Experience Details**:
Related to Elastomer Materials, Elastomer Component Manufacuring Process, Elastomer Component testing.
