**Designation**: Deputy Engineer

**Department**: Material Science

**Job Location**: Pimpri, Pune

**Experience**: 1-5 Years

**Education Qualification**: Technical Diploma (Mechanical)

**Work requirement/Project deliverables**:

- Making test fixtures for Chassis and Suspension Components for performance and Durability testing.
- Making Material testing Test coupons. Material Characterization and failure investigation for Chassis and susp. components.
- Test component availability follow up, Test facility readiness and planning.
- Test component availability and material Dispatch; Dispatch document for Outsourcing; Test set preparation; Test execution; Observation records, compilation, and communication; In-house and Durability test reports releases.
- Maintenance of the Material Test Equipment, Hydraulics and Mechanical Test Rigs & test Facilities
- Monitoring and planning workloads on the Durability test Rigs.
- Coordinate & mange visits (as & when required) between various test facilities inside & outside TML.

**Job Responsibility**:

- Component and Material Testing execution and monitoring the same.
- Equipment upkeep, Calibration, Test Fixture Design and Manufacturing in co-ordination with different stake holders.
- Preparation of RFI, RFQ for Component Level and Material Test outsourcing.

**Engineering Skills**: Mechanical and Materials Engineering

**Primarily Skill**: Mechanical Testing and Data Analysis

**Secondary Skill**: Material Testing and Characterization

**Must have**:
Component Level testing, Fixturing and Manufacturing Process knowledge.

**Preferred to have**:
Component Level Testing execution exposure. CAD/PRO-E exposure for fixturing design.

**Work Experience Details**:
Chassis and Suspension Component Testing. Material testing experience.
