**Designation**: Deputy Engineer

**Department**: Material Science

**Job Location**: Pimpri, Pune

**Experience**: 1-5 Years

**Education Qualification**: Technical Diploma (Corrosion Science/ Metallurgy/ Paint technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Material Science)

**Work requirement/Project deliverables**:
Support development of new technologies /test methods in the area of Corrosion/Paints/coatings

**Job Responsibility**:

- Sample preparation for testing of paints, coatings and corrosion
- Testing and Monitoring of Samples/Parts/Assembly for Material characterization
- Report preparation with test observation and analysis
- Co-ordination with different department /suppliers for sample preparation and testing

**Engineering Skills**:
**Primarily Skill**: Domain expertise in Corrosion/Coatings/Paints

**Secondary Skill**: Communication skills and time management.

**Must have**:

- In depth knowledge of automotive corrosion fundamentals
- To have detailed knowledge of corrosion test methods on sample/part/assembly and vehicle level test standards and its relationship with field performance
- Understanding of factors leading to corrosion

**Preferred to have**:

- Knowledge on different practices in automotive industry on vehicle level corrosion tests
- Knowledge on latest practices in paints systems in auto Industry

**Work Experience Details**:
Minimum 3 years in Automotive Corrosion.
