**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision & Staff Management**:
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, including room attendants, housemen, and laundry staff, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality standards.
- Assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff and ensure completion within the allocated time frame.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to the housekeeping team to ensure consistent service quality and adherence to procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
**Guest Room & Public Area Cleanliness**:
- Ensure guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort.
- Monitor public areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other hotel facilities to ensure they are kept clean and presentable at all times.
- Address and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
**Inventory & Supply Management**:
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, guest amenities, and other housekeeping products, and ensure reordering is done in a timely manner.
- Ensure that housekeeping staff are using supplies and equipment efficiently to avoid waste and reduce costs.
- Maintain proper stock levels and organize storage areas for easy access.
**Training & Development**:
- Train new housekeeping staff on hotel policies, cleaning procedures, safety standards, and guest service expectations.
- Provide ongoing training to staff on effective cleaning techniques, safety measures, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

- Report any maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas to the maintenance department for prompt resolution.
**Administrative Tasks**:
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping staff attendance, leave requests, and performance.
- Assist with the preparation of weekly schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak and off-peak times.
- Assist in preparing reports related to departmental performance, inventory, and staff productivity.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- **Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping or a similar supervisory role in the hotel industry.
- Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and housekeeping management software is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
