Job Title ERP Systems Administrator

Reports To ERP Technical Lead

Direct Reports N/A

Key Stakeholders IT, Functional Consultants, Process Leads

Role Purpose

To work within the technical workstream of the ERP project and establish, maintain, and manage the new ERP environments including production, development, test and training environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of ERP systems
- Resolving ERP related hardware, software and system problems
- Monitoring and maintaining ERP systems security
- Responsible for maintaining the various ERP environments to support the project and ongoing operations
- To ‘transport’ code from one environment to another in a way that is fully managed, controlled and auditable.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the ERP database schema and the security subsystem in order to assign appropriate system access to users
- Assist with testing new releases of ERP systems prior to use in a production environment
- Create documentation and procedures guidelines, following best practice

**Qualifications**:
Skills and Experience
- Essential_
- _Minimum _3-5 years of Experience is required
- Significant experience in systems administration, ideally within a global organisation operating on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or AX 2012
- Supported and managed ERP environment in a previous organisation
- Good problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Effective communicator with good organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to check performance issues and determine the most effective way to address
- Experience devising, developing, implementing and on a regular basis testing disaster recovery and archiving procedures
- Experience writing and maintaining documentations, documenting problems and resolutions for future reference
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within system administration
- Deploying Virtual machines and configuring branches
- Manage upgrade/update (Cumulative updates/ Platform Updates) environments.
- Database refresh (.bac and bacpac), Packages/Model deployment
- Deploy and manage lower and higher (Dev, UAT, Production) environments.
- Maintain software licenses(ISV), user access and security roles.
- Azure technologies and services like (LCS, DevOps, PowerApps, etc).
- Azure Active Directory
- Batch management (create/hold/cancel).
