**About the Role**

We’re looking for a proactive **Purchases Associate** to join our dynamic procurement team. You will play a key role in ensuring timely procurement, vendor coordination, and cost-effective sourcing while maintaining the highest quality standards. If you have strong negotiation skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for smooth operations—this role is for you.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Vendor Management**
- Identify and evaluate reliable vendors.
- Maintain vendor database and performance ratings.
- Share daily Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure acknowledgements.
- Coordinate on GRNs, invoices, and payment terms with accounts.
- Follow up on timely vendor payments.

**2. Procurement Planning & Execution**
- Source materials as per production and operational needs.
- Maintain 100% daily PO fill rate and accuracy.
- Manage alternate sourcing for unavailable items.
- Liaise with Sales & CS teams to push slow-moving or over-ordered items.

**3. Cost Management**
- Drive cost savings through negotiation.
- Compare vendor pricing against budgeted targets.
- Balance cost-effectiveness with product quality.

**4. Quality Compliance**
- Ensure procured goods meet internal quality standards.
- Minimize rejections/returns and follow up with vendors on feedback.
- Switch vendors if repeated quality issues occur.

**5. Inventory Support**
- Coordinate with warehouse to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Flag seasonal or discontinued products proactively.
- Shut down discontinued SKUs in the system to prevent order issues.

**6. Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain records of POs, GRNs, and invoices.
- Submit procurement reports weekly or monthly.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and timely.

**7. Timely Deliveries**
- Monitor vendor lead times and reduce delays.
- Align dispatches with warehouse timelines.
- Inform vendors promptly about any issues.

**8. Process Improvements**
- Suggest enhancements in procurement processes and tools.
- Focus on accuracy and efficiency improvements.

**Who Should Apply?**
- Strong follow-up, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management.
- Proficiency in Excel, communication tools, and basic inventory systems.
- Self-motivated and organized with a problem-solving mindset.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
