**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job responsibilities**
- Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availability
- Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools
- Identify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
- Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems. Strong command of scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl for automation tasks. Experience with database technologies including SQL and Oracle. Knowledge and hands on experience on either AWS or GKP cloud based systems. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Geneos, Splunk or Dynatrace for performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Terraform Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Bitbucket. Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS). Exposure to job scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys and APM. Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes. Knowledge of payment processing systems and protocols (ISO 8583, SWIFT, ACH). Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or JIRA for incident tracking and resolution. Having SRE/DevOps mindset with knowledge around SLI, SLO, Error Budgeting

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
- Working understanding of public cloud
- Experience on observability and telemetry tools like Datadog, grafana is highly desirable.
