**Position**: Hospital Floor Coordinator
**Experience Required**: 3 to 5 years in a hospital setting
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- **Patient and Family Support**:
- Act as the first point of contact for patients and families on the assigned hospital floor.
- Address patient inquiries and provide guidance regarding hospital services and procedures.
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure patients’ comfort and satisfaction.
- **Floor Operations Management**:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hospital floor, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Monitor cleanliness, safety, and availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
- **Staff Coordination**:
- Support nursing and medical staff by coordinating schedules and communicating updates.
- Relay instructions from management to floor staff and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
- Assist in managing and resolving staff issues on the floor.
- **Admissions and Discharge Coordination**:
- Assist with the admission and discharge processes, ensuring all documentation is completed.
- Liaise with the billing department and ensure a smooth transition for patients during discharge.
- **Emergency Handling**:
- Act swiftly in emergencies by coordinating with medical teams and following hospital protocols.
- Ensure proper communication during critical situations to prevent delays in care delivery.
- **Record Maintenance**:
- Maintain accurate records of floor activities, including patient movements and staff assignments.
- Update patient information and track daily reports using hospital management software.
- **Communication and Reporting**:
- Serve as a communication link between departments to facilitate smooth operations.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports to management on floor activities.
- **Training and Supervision**:
- Orient new staff to floor protocols and procedures.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to hospital standards and guidelines.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Nursing, or related healthcare field.
- Certification in healthcare management is an advantage.
- **Experience**:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a hospital environment, preferably in a floor coordination or administrative role.
- **Skills**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
