Introduction:
As an AVP at Barclaycard USCB, you will be responsible to lead a team of BA4s to effectively deliver on all the key SLA’s and deliver on the accountability described below by closely working with the management team

What will you be doing?
This role will be hands On “In Person Presence in US Timings of Approx. 6 PM to 4 AM IST
This is a largely work in office ( Noida Office ) “Leadership of the team & Real Time availability of the AVP for US Stake-holder interactions in US Timings”. This is not a Remote Work from Home Assignment as it requires in Person Provision of Leadership in the Noida Office for the US Operations.
The operations will have weekends working

Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) for the process are met as agreed upon with the client.
- Review and analyze performance reports against targets on a weekly/monthly basis with the head of department, operations manager and with the client and investigate causes for performance deviations.
- Ensure the staffing model, resource plan and budgetary allocations are designed to achieve key service delivery metrics and ensure that the same are communicated effectively both externally & internally to facilitate business compliance.
- Drive continuous improvements in the process.
- Own the development, articulation and implementation of the business strategy by working closely with business stakeholders across different business functions
- Monitor and drive plans to achieve successful completion on time, budget and quality
- Own and manage all risk elements of the business including but not limited to revenue & cost, attrition, customer experience and brand reputation
- Provide leadership to the managers and management oversight for issue resolution
- Provides leadership to Operations and related functions.
- Create an environment that encourages staff retention; high levels of staff engagement and ensures employee satisfaction shows a year on year improvement
- Embed a culture of regular reviews and performance management
- Engage, motivate and coach the team towards achieving goals.
- Encourage and promote a culture of champion challenger within BGSC
- Set and communicate common business goals and objectives
- Provide a single point of management for business change in the unit
- Interact with senior business (B6/B7 and SX) level stakeholders
- Provide thought leadership by leading/participating in Voice Leadership forums
- Actively support Succession planning initiatives and investing in manager development activities - Build a strong leadership pipeline
- Ensure effective allocation and utilization of resources across the team in order to maximize effectiveness.
- Identify the developmental needs of the team & encourage them to take suitable training programs to enhance their capabilities and skills.
- Communicate strategic developments within the business area.
- Ensure smooth induction of new hires in the team.
- Groom and mentor the team to handle wider span & higher responsibilities.
- Build effective communication channels to ensure open communication and address issues/ concerns raised by the team.
