**Skills**
- Server Design, Implementation, Installation, Configuration
- Strong understanding and experience of Design & Implementation with enterprise hardware platforms (HP/Dell/Cisco blades/Racks etc.) and operating systems (VMware/Windows/Linux)
- Strong understanding and experience with Storage virtualization technologies, replication, BCP/DR methodologies
- Strong experience in virtualization technologies including VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V
- Understanding and hands-on Experience of Backup Products like CommVault, Data protector
- Experience with conducting maintenance, tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting of SAN environments
- Experience in designing, installing, and supporting SAN/NAS (HPE/Dell/NetApp) arrays, and associated functions (e.g. zoning switches)
- Experience working with various public cloud solutions such as AWS, Google and Azure
- In-depth knowledge on Cluster configurations, failover, failback, creating virtual interfaces etc
- Integration: OS, DB, Server Virtualization Platforms
- Hands on experience on different RAID, HCI platforms

Strong experience in managing Database backups(Oracle & SQL) using native tools (RMAN or SQL Scripts) as well as using Live agents

MCITP and equivalent (mandatory)
- VMWare Certification ( Mandatory )
- CCNP/NCDA/HDS/ (preferred)
- RedHat or equivalent (preferred)
- Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL Database Administrator (preferred)
- MCSE and equivalent (preferred)

AWS/Azure/Google cloud ( Mandatory)

**Job Responsibility**
- Understand the project scope requirements (specific to Servers for Data Centre and other infra nodes) and undergo detailed requirements study with the customer, within purview of tender scope.
- Carry out detailed design which includes HLD (High Level Design), LLD (Low Level Design), Service Solution Document, Network traffic assumptions, Configuration Template & OEM Validation, Service Activation, Fulfilment, Feasibility & Provisioning
- And the Integrations. Ensure implementation, Integrations and testing.
- Understand power requirements for each server types Rack, Blade, HCI servers, Converged etc
- Responsible for installing, configuring, managing servers of different operating systems fixing issues, upgrading while implementing enhancements to them to improve performance and reliability.
- In-depth experience on Zoning, WWPN, WWN, creating Datastores, Thin Provisioning LUNs, decommissioning etc.
- Knowledge on VSAN and different virtualization technologies Hyper-V, Vmware ESXi, Xen hypervisor etc.
- In-depth experience on Bare Metal Provisioning, PXE boot
- Responsible to create Knowledge article, SOP, Operations Manual, Architecture diagrams for Server, Virtualization domain
- Have in-depth knowledge of Cloud Solutions, virtualization software, scripting with PowerShell, VDI Solutions.
- Co-ordinate with the project team, field team for deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews and resolve technical issues in co-ordination with execution vendors.
- Provide Training to the team and ensure hands-on experienced team working to achieve the deliverables on time.
- Responsible to handover with requisite Handover Document
- Operate in an ITIL Change Control process environment for all changes, updates, and new provisioning to all SAN switches and arrays.
- Installed and configured file system backups to run on Linux (RHEL and Ubuntu) and Windows (Server 2k3 through 2012R2, as well as database backups for Oracle 10g to 11.2, MYSQL and MSSQL.
- Created and implemented custom restore requests varying from full system restores to specific single file restores
- Installed and configured backup agents according to specific settings for security and streamlined data flow.

Responsible for installing, patching and tuning.

- Proven technical leadership and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Understanding of Smart Communication Infra, Security and Surveillance - will be added advantage. Ability to work under demanding project implementation.
