Role Objective:

Ensure effective operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the organizations server and storage infrastructure to deliver high availability and reliable performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain physical servers, including OS installation, patching, and performance tuning.

Administer VMware environments (vSphere/ESXi), including provisioning VMs, snapshot management, backup verification, and migration.

Ensure backup completion and disaster recovery readiness, including participation in DR drills.

Monitor and manage SAN/NAS storage infrastructure (e.g., QSAN), ensuring proper allocation, redundancy, and zoning.

Implement and test storage replication and protection mechanisms.

Act as a Level-2 escalation point for incidents impacting servers/storage.

Document infrastructure changes, maintain server inventory, and update system configurations.

Desired Profile:

Graduate in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.

4-6 years of experience in server and storage administration.

Strong knowledge of VMware and Windows/Linux server administration.

Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS platforms (QSAN or equivalent).

Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery frameworks.

Ability to troubleshoot escalated technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
