The role involves day-to-day storage operations, performance tuning, and ensuring zero-downtime for trading-critical applications.Key Responsibilities:- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot NetApp ONTAP storage systems (FAS/ AFF) across primary DC and DR sites. - Configure and manage volumes, LUNs, SVMs, SnapMirror, SnapVault, SnapLock, and deduplication/compression features. - Handle storage provisioning, tiering, and performance optimization for low-latency trading applications. - Participate in storage capacity planning, DR drills, and failover testing for high-availability environments. - Collaborate with server, network, and application teams for seamless integration and performance tuning. - Implement backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies in compliance with SEBI/BFSI standards. - Maintain documentation, runbooks, and RCA reports for audits and regulatory compliance. - Support storage upgrades, firmware updates, and patching in scheduled maintenance windows.Technical Requirements:- 8+ years hands-on experience with NetApp storage systems (ONTAP/FAS/AFF) in enterprise DC environments. - Strong knowledge of NAS & SAN storage protocols (NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, FC). - Experience with SnapMirror, SnapVault, SnapLock, MetroCluster, and high-availability configurations. - Familiarity with backup/restore, replication, DR strategies, and performance tuning. - Exposure to financial trading/BFSI networks or regulated low-latency DC environments. - ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management experience.Preferred Certifications:- NetApp NCDA / NCIE / NCSIE - ITIL Foundation
