**Job Description: Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Government Clients**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a focus on government clients. As a Cloud SME, he will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in cloud technologies, particularly within the government sector. He will work closely with government clients to understand their specific requirements, design and draft cloud solutions, and ensure successful RFP design of cloud-based systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for government clients, understanding their cloud computing needs and translating them into effective solutions.
- Design and architect cloud solutions based on government client requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and security professionals, to ensure a relevant components covered in RFP.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and government regulations related to cloud computing, and make recommendations for process and technology enhancements.
- Conduct assessments and audits of existing government cloud environments, identifying areas for optimization, security enhancements, and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government clients, acting as a trusted advisor and technical consultant.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- **Minimum of 6 years of experience working with cloud technologies,** including hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proven experience working with government clients and a solid understanding of government regulations, compliance standards, and security requirements.
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, cloud services (e.g., compute, storage, networking), and cloud deployment models (e.g., public, private, hybrid).
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and data protection.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of successfully leading cloud projects from inception to completion.

**Salary**: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
