As a Senior Monitoring Tool Admin, you will have responsibilities to configure Nagios. Create documentation & SOP for easing out tasks & resolve Infrastructure related issues. You will work in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring attendance, quality and customer service metrics are met.
- Experience configuring collection of syslog messages from a variety of devices and storing and forwarding as required by local policies.
- Provide expertise to define, monitor, and report on SLAs
- Provide expertise to detect and verify performance issues and determine the scope of the performance issue
- Nagios experience is an added advantage
- Experience in developing and creation of dashboards
- Technical team handling experience
- Good Exposure to ticketing tools (ServiceNow, JIRA etc.)
- Good troubleshooting skills on Windows/Linux OS
- Excellent understanding of Infrastructure monitoring tools
- Should have excellent presentation skill e.g. Dashboard, Chart, PPT etc.
- Good exposure on monitoring tools (Zabbix/Dynatrace/SCOM)
Administration, Configuration and Troubleshooting of monitoring tools would be good to have skill

Required Skills for this role:

- Experience in the operations, management, support and administration of Monitoring tool
- Experience in scripting like Ksh, Bsh, Powershell
- Experience in monitoring network devices and network performance
- Good understanding of network environmental elements such VLANs, VPN, Protocols, routing, IP address schemes, bandwidth, network devices, etc.
- Good understanding of operating system such Unix/Linux and Windows
- Good documentation skills
- Basic skills on project planning and management
- Excellent communication skills and customer relationship
- Experience with other monitoring tools preferably network
- Experience with ITSM tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow etc.
- Availability to be on call
