Vdi System Admin

Sr. VDI Admin (Azure Virtual Desktop) will work with Stefanini Enterprise Services team that engages vendors to understand capabilities, assess feasibility of architecture solutions and evaluate integration into delivery system environments. The role also supports current technology set and reviews new end user technologies, develops standard end user environments for customers globally - Responsible for Build and Run activities for Application and desktop virtualization platform such Citrix, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PC - Assist to Build Knowledgebase Articles, Build and implementation plan for various End-User & Desktop Virtualization products. - Able to perform Discovery and Assessments of existing VDI platform using Azure Native or Third Party tools - Provide knowledge transfer and detailed design/operational documentation to colleagues and develop resources to train support personnel to provide Tier II support to end users - Coordinates work with project delivery organization to support the successful completion of medium to large enterprise projects - Participate and facilitate in-depth demonstration of VDI functions and features to customers - Strive to become an acknowledged expert by keeping abreast of new features and product release - To assess operating system, storage and network components of a VDI and provide best practice and required optimization. - Participates in incident, asset, change and problem management and continuous improvement of VDI platform - Demonstrated experience with patch and upgrade methodology for front-end and back-end VDI platform systems - Able to perform Discovery and Assessments of existing VDI platform using Azure Native or Third Party tools - Implementation experience of Azue Landing Zone, Azure AD Tenant, Identity& MFA - Implementation and debugging scalable Azure AVD End User Computing Solutions - Azure Image creation/customization/upgrades using Azure Image Builder or similar tools - Proficient Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems , - Support Cloud VDI operation managing Azure Virtual Desktop /, FSlogix container - Implementation and administration of Azure Virtual Desktop architecture - Implementing and configuration of user identities and profiles - Working experience in implementing and managing networking & storage for AVD - Plan and implement a disaster recovery plan and backup strategy for Azure Virtual Desktop - Automate Windows Virtual Desktop management tasks **Skill and Requirements**: 8+ Years" experience in Azure VDI + Azure Cloud technologies Administration experience of Azure services like, Storage accounts, Virtual Networks, Recovery services, Azure Image Builder, Azure Log Analytics etc. Automate Azure Virtual Desktop management tasks with tools like Nerdio Manager or similar tools. Migration of resources and session hosts, working with AVD resources Add/create/delete (Host Pools, Application groups, Workspaces, Session hosts, working with user sessions) Ability to create/work on automation scripts in PowerShell or Azure DevOps technologies. Experience with patch management and vulnerability management for AVD environment Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager. Ability to create and manage AVD operational Run books. Monitor and manage Azure Virtual Desktop performance, health Ensuring security and efficiency of AVD infrastructure Maintain and frontend disaster recovery drills, backup and restore procedures Excellent understanding of Azure infrastructure covering firewalls, proxies, express route, policy Expertise in technical implementation of Azure VDI including optimization Ability to actively manage workloads to meet business and department requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong listening skills **Additional Note**:The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
