**Job Description: Admission Counselor**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Prospective Student Engagement**:

- Host information sessions, webinars, or one-on-one consultations to provide prospective students with a clear understanding of the institution's offerings.
- **Application Assistance**:

- **Admissions Evaluation**:

- **Counseling and Guidance**:

- Offer personalized counseling sessions to students and their families about choosing the right academic program, financial aid options, and campus life.
- Help students make informed decisions about program choices, course selection, and long-term academic goals.
- **Collaboration with Departments**:

- Work closely with the admissions team, academic departments, and financial aid offices to ensure all aspects of the admissions process are aligned and efficient.
- Communicate admissions decisions to faculty and staff as required.
- **Event Coordination**:

- Plan and coordinate recruitment events, campus tours, open houses, and outreach activities to attract and engage prospective students.
- Attend college fairs, conferences, and other events to promote the institution to potential students.
- **Data Management and Reporting**:

- Provide regular reports on admissions trends, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics to senior leadership.
- **Marketing and Recruitment**:

- Actively engage in outreach efforts to diverse student populations and underrepresented communities.
- **Enrollment Support**:

- Guide students through the process of enrolling and registering for classes after they have been admitted.
- Ensure new students are aware of orientation, housing options, and other important resources.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in admissions, recruitment, or counseling is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with office software and student information systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and represent the institution at various events and conferences.

**Work Environment**: The Admission Counselor typically works in an office environment but may be required to travel for recruitment events, college fairs, and campus tours. The position may also involve occasional evening or weekend hours for events.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
