**Role description**:
**Job Title**: Product Configurator (US Healthcare)
**Experience Range**: 3 to 5 years
**Hiring Location**: Trivandrum,Chennai, Kochi, Banaglore, Hyderabad, Pune
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Modelling Products**: Create and maintain healthcare plans or benefit packages within the configurator tool, ensuring they reflect the company's offerings and customer needs.
- **Implementing Business Rules**: Define and implement business rules that govern how users interact with the configurator, ensuring only valid configurations are possible (e.g., preventing users from choosing conflicting coverage options).
- **Using JavaScript for Customization**: Develop custom logic within the configurator tool using JavaScript or other scripting languages for advanced customization rules.
- **Testing Configurations**: Ensure configurations work correctly across all scenarios and provide accurate results.
- **Documentation & User Training**: Develop documentation and training materials to help users understand product configurations.
**Must-Have Skills**:
- Experience in product configuration, modeling, or related fields.
- Strong experience in JavaScript programming for scripting business rules, logic, and calculations within configuration tools.
- Proficiency in using product configurator software (e.g., Produxt Configurator, Salesforce CPQ, Tacton, Oracle CPQ, etc.).
- Familiarity with configuration management processes, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, ACA, and ERISA.
**Good-to-Have Skills**:
- Experience with cloud-based configurator platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
- Understanding of API integrations and their connection to business systems (e.g., billing, customer data, or inventory systems).
**Education & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the healthcare, insurance, or payor industry, with a deep understanding of product offerings like insurance plans, employee benefits, and healthcare coverage.
