**Job Summary**:
The Sales Coordinator for JCB Machinery & Equipment plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes. This position involves coordinating between the sales team, customers, and internal departments to facilitate sales activities, manage customer orders, and maintain accurate records. The Sales Coordinator will contribute to the achievement of sales targets by providing administrative support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Support**:
- Assist the sales team in preparing quotes, proposals, and sales contracts for JCB Machinery & equipment.
- Process sales orders, track order status, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve any issues related to orders and deliveries.
**Customer Interaction**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the sales process, providing excellent service and support.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback on their experience.
**Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, product demonstrations, and events for the sales team.
**Sales Data Management**:
- Update and manage CRM systems with customer and sales data.
- Monitor and track sales metrics to support the sales team in achieving targets.
**Collaboration**:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
**Order Processing**:
- Verify and process sales orders and ensure accurate documentation.
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock and fulfillment.
**Problem Resolution**:
- Address and resolve any issues related to sales orders, deliveries, or customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Escalate complex issues to the Sales Manager or appropriate department as needed.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role, ideally within the heavy equipment or construction machinery industry.
- Familiarity with JCB products and sales processes is a plus.
**Skills**:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
