**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our kitchen team.
As the second in command of the kitchen, you will assist the Sous Chef in day-to-day
operations and take charge of the kitchen in their absence. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards, using approved recipes and
maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Assist Sous Chef in day-to-day operations: Support the Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
- Handle kitchen in absence of Sous Chef: Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Sous Chef, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that kitchen operations run smoothly.
- Ensure food preparation as per approved recipes: Prepare food according to approved recipes and menus, maintaining consistency and quality in all dishes.
- Ensure availability of raw materials in store: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure that all raw materials are available and fresh.
- Coordinate with service team in food preparation: Work closely with the service team to ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, and that all orders are fulfilled efficiently.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment: Ensure that the kitchen is clean,
organized, and hygienic at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff: Guide and train junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive kitchen culture.
- Control food costs and waste: Monitor food costs and waste, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Participate in menu planning and development: Contribute to menu planning and
development, suggesting new ideas and recipes to improve the kitchens offerings.
- Maintain high standards of customer service: Ensure that all food is prepared and
presented to the highest standards, providing excellent customer service and responding to customer feedback.
- Comply with FSSAI regulations: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that the kitchen is a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- Perform other duties as required: Assist with other duties as required, including catering events, special functions, and kitchen maintenance.
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, menu planning, and food preparation
- Excellent leadership and communication skills and good command in Microsoft excel
- Ability to work and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Pay: ₹550,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
