**Process Overview**

**Job Description**

This role is responsible for optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum team, and is focused on serving the needs of the team to drive performance and growth. Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, and enabling continuous improvement within the team. This role ensures the impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows their agreed to processes, and that there is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team.

**Responsibilities**
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies - DSU, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- In a Scaled Agile model, support PI planning activities, highlight risks and plan load versus capacity and present team in PI planning events.
- Represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs and identify/highlight dependancies
- Help the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements.
- Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog (in collaboration with the PO)
- Facilitate dependency management/risk management /impediment removal for the team.
- Promote /facilitate communication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Sprint commitments.
- Provide visibility into the Agile team’s delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders.
- Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities.
- Release readiness activities
- Reporting - Project status, risks and business review reportingEnsure team is MRA2 compliance and help remediate Release manager tool errors
- Work under guidance and mentorship from senior Scrum Masters or Agile Coaches.

**Requirements**:
**Education**

BE/ B.Tech / MCA/ M.Tech

**Certifications If Any**

Certified Scrum Master in SAFE

**Experience Range**

7 - 10 Years

**Foundational skills**
- Experience being the Scrum Master for at least 5 years for a Scrum team.
- Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)
- Experience with assisting a historically waterfall team and organization with adopting Scrum.
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
- Experience with Jira
- Experience writing Features and breaking down features into stories

**Desired skills**
- Experience with payments domain knowledge
