We are looking for a passionate and skilled Scrum Master to guide our agile teams in Chennai and help drive the delivery of innovative healthcare products. Role Overview As a Scrum Master at Encipher Health, you’ll act as a coach, facilitator, and servant leader for one or more cross-functional agile teams. You will play a critical role in enabling high-performance delivery, fostering a collaborative culture, and ensuring alignment with our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare technology. Key Responsibilities - Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives - Guide the team on Agile values, principles, and practices to enhance team maturity and velocity - Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a healthy product backlog - Identify and remove impediments that impact team productivity and delivery - Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team - Track and report team performance metrics (e.g., velocity, sprint burndown, throughput) - Collaborate with stakeholders, including QA, UX, and Engineering leadership - Ensure team adherence to healthcare domain requirements such as data privacy and security (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I, or equivalent certification - 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software or healthtech environment - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) - Proven ability to coach teams and resolve conflicts effectively - Familiarity with healthcare regulations and product development in a compliance-focused environment is a plus - Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps What We Offer - The opportunity to shape meaningful healthcare solutions that impact lives - A collaborative and mission-driven team culture - Flexible working options and a modern office in Chennai - Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives - Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities
