**Location**: DEHRADUN/HARIDWAR
**Reports to**: Project Manager / Senior Program Manager
**About the Role**:
The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in the successful implementation and management of livelihood development programs. This role demands an individual with a strong background in project coordination, especially in community-based livelihood projects. The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and meet the goals of improving the livelihoods of targeted communities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Planning and Execution**:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of livelihood projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and according to plan.
- Collaborate with team members to implement project activities and achieve set milestones.
- **Monitoring and Reporting**:
- Track project progress and ensure that activities are aligned with overall objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, budgets, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for course correction when needed.
- **Stakeholder Coordination and Communication**:
- Liaise with stakeholders, including local government, NGOs, community leaders, and beneficiaries, ensuring their involvement and participation in the project.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth project implementation.
- Conduct meetings and workshops to ensure stakeholders are informed about project progress and objectives.
- **Resource Management**:
- Manage project resources (human, financial, and material) to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of resources for project activities.
- **Community Engagement**:
- Work closely with local communities to identify needs, mobilize resources, and implement livelihood-enhancing activities.
- Conduct community outreach, awareness programs, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at improving the livelihood of target populations.
- Ensure that community feedback is integrated into project activities.
- **Risk Management**:
- Identify potential risks related to project implementation and develop mitigation strategies.
- Address issues as they arise and provide solutions to keep the project on track.
- **Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)**:
- Assist in developing M&E frameworks to assess project impact on livelihoods.
- Ensure timely collection of data and feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with M&E teams to evaluate the success and effectiveness of the project.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating livelihood-focused projects, preferably in a humanitarian, development, or community-based context.
- **Skills**:
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of managing and coordinating multi-stakeholder projects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of livelihood frameworks, community development, and rural development initiatives.
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation of development projects.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
