### Job Title: Pharmacy Customer Service Representative

- **Customer Interaction**: Greet customers and provide assistance with their pharmaceutical inquiries, ensuring a friendly and helpful environment.
- **Prescription Management**: Process new and refill prescriptions accurately; manage pharmacy software for prescription input and maintenance.
- **Product Information**: Educate customers about medication uses, side effects, and instructions; provide information about health and wellness products.
- **Insurance Coordination**: Verify insurance information, explain coverage options, and assist customers with claims and billing questions.
- **Problem Resolution**: Address customer concerns and complaints with professionalism, working to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain organized patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure the safe and timely dispensing of medications.
- **Sales Promotion**: Promote pharmacy services, such as immunizations, health screenings, and special programs, to enhance customer knowledge and engagement.
- **Inventory Support**: Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking shelves and monitoring expiration dates of medications and products.

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in pharmacy services is an advantage.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in customer service or a healthcare-related role is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication handling is a plus.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and pharmacy software.
