Job Title: Accounts and Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

Accounts Responsibilities:
Invoicing & Billing:

- Prepare and send client invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all service agreements, contracts, and projects are correctly reflected.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist in the collection process to ensure timely payments.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable:

- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and paid on time.
- Assist in reconciling supplier invoices and ensuring payments are made in accordance with company policies.

Financial Reporting:

- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Track expenses, maintain budgets, and report discrepancies to senior management.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records are maintained.
- General Ledger & Reconciliation:

- Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, credit card statements, and bank statements.
- Ensure all financial transactions are entered and categorized properly in accounting software.

Tax Preparation Assistance:

- Assist the finance team with tax-related documents, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Technical Support Responsibilities:
Technical Issue Resolution:
System Maintenance & Support:

- Maintain and support internal IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, networking equipment, and software tools.
- Perform basic installations, configurations, and updates for systems, software, and devices.

Client Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide clear and timely communication to clients regarding their technical issues and resolutions.

Software & Hardware Training:

- Assist end users in learning new software tools or systems through training sessions and documentation.
- Conduct onboarding for new clients and employees, providing initial IT setup and training on commonly used software and hardware.

Ticket Management:

- Use a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) to log and track support requests, ensuring issues are resolved within defined SLAs.
- Prioritize and escalate issues as needed to senior technical support teams.

Collaboration with IT Team:

- Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex technical issues and assist with ongoing projects, ensuring smooth service delivery to clients.

Required Qualifications:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

**Experience**:

- 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a basic understanding of accounting principles (accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, invoicing, etc.).
- 2-3 years of experience in technical support or IT helpdesk, with a strong understanding of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and network connectivity.

Technical Skills:

- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and financial systems.
- Familiarity with common IT troubleshooting tools and techniques for resolving software, hardware, and network issues.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS), networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).

Communication Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Problem-Solving:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve both accounting discrepancies and technical issues.
- Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications:

- AITP (Association of Information Technology Professionals), CompTIA A+, or any other IT support certification.
- Any relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) would be an advantage.

**Experience**:

- Experience with cloud-based financial software and tools.
- Experience with technical support in an IT firm or technology services environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Shift:

- Fixed shift

Work Days:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
