**The Role**:
**The Role**

Deploy & embed & I&D standards, roles, responsibilities, competencies, initiatives, and services as defined in the business strategy, within the business. Monitors and propose & work initiatives to improves I&D health and operational excellence in execution. The IM Advisor operates in close cooperation with Data management teams.

**Key Characteristics**

IM Advisors and consultants are responsible for identifying and documenting the Information & Data (I&D) business needs of their clients and stakeholders and helping to determine solutions to meet the needs or resolve business problems. Analyze, design, develop, and maintain the end-to-end I&D lifecycle processes and Information Compliance that meet business needs and integrate with business processes and IT architecture.

**Professional Qualifications & Skills**

**Educational Qualification**
- University degree in any IT discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry

**Required Skills**:

- I&D Management Framework practices and understands what is required to implement them effectively.
- Awareness of the I&D support / services / operations environment.
- Has a familiarity with business and I&D analysis either through academic study or has gained familiarity and practical I&D experience.
- Awareness of the I&D Management business process. and can explain how it fits in the relevant processes of her/his business.
- IM Compliance remediation as Confidential and Most Confidential files, Personal data etc.
- Experience & Knowledge in Records Management/Disposal Plans/File Plan
- Awareness of Privacy regulations and handling of private information
- Management of IM Compliance and Health Dashboard/IM Compliance focal point network sessions/IM Compliance Escalations
- Awareness of the wider field of I&D principles and technologies and how own role relates to other roles and to the business of the company.
- Skilled in in SharePoint/O365 tools (MS Teams, PowerApps, Flow, PowerBI, etc) along with thorough understanding of its capabilities, features and limitations.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of project management, requirement gathering and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Information Management Policy and Processes
- Knowledge of Record Management Policy and Processes
- Knowledge in metadata structuring and taxonomy used within Shell
- Skilled in I&D Value Exploitation
- Skilled in I&D Lifecycle & Quality Management
- Skilled in I&D Business Analysis

**Nice to have Skills**
- Experience in working with unstructured data sets
- Certified Information Professional (CIP) certification
- CI methodology in support of Operational Excellence Activities
- Has a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving with demonstrable verbal and written communications skills.
- Has good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and is confident in dealing with business users.
