An Adminsstrator / "Centre In Charge" for an NGO is responsible for the overall management and operations of a specific NGO center or project location, overseeing daily activities, staff supervision, program implementation, community engagement, and ensuring the smooth delivery of services within their designated area, all while aligning with the NGO's mission and goals. Key responsibilities may include:
- **Operational Management**:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and facility maintenance.
- Overseeing program delivery, ensuring quality standards are met, and addressing any operational challenges.
- Monitoring budgets and expenditures for the centre, ensuring financial accountability.
- **Program Implementation**:
- Leading the implementation of NGO programs and projects within the designated centre.
- Coordinating with relevant stakeholders, including beneficiaries, community leaders, and local authorities.
- Monitoring program progress, collecting data, and evaluating effectiveness.
- **Staff Supervision**:
- Supervising and mentoring a team of staff members, including project coordinators, caseworkers, and outreach workers.
- Assigning tasks, providing performance feedback, and addressing staff concerns.
- Building team cohesion and capacity development.
- **Community Engagement**:
- Identifying community needs and building relationships with local stakeholders.
- Conducting awareness campaigns and outreach activities to promote NGO programs.
- Facilitating community participation in program design and implementation.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:
- Preparing regular reports on program activities, impact metrics, and financial status to the NGO leadership.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to centre operations and beneficiary details.
- **Fundraising and Partnership Development**:
- Identifying potential funding opportunities and collaborating with donors to secure necessary resources for the centre.
- Building partnerships with local organizations and community groups to enhance program delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and management skills with experience in supervising teams
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Understanding of community development principles and project design
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Knowledge of local issues and context relevant to the NGO's focus area
- Strong commitment to the NGO's mission and values
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
