**Overview**:

- 247Digitize is currently seeking a Process Associate - Bookkeeping to join our Team.You’ll play an integral role in an exciting and fast-paced environment where the sky is truly the limit.

You should be an individual who is passionate about your work and strives for continuous improvement. This role plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for businesses. Process Associate in Bookkeeping needs attention to detail, strong organizational skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and proficiency in relevant software. You should be a collaborative team member who is passionate about sharing the things you’ve learned as well as learning from others on the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
- Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; and reconciling entries.
- Recording accounting entries.
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
- Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
- Maintains historical records by filing documents.
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**General Skills**:

- Ability to communicate well with peers (Good communication skills both written and verbal)
- Working effectively with other team members and departments fosters a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Providing excellent customer service, especially when dealing with clients or internal stakeholders, enhances the overall reputation of the bookkeeping service.
- The ability to adapt to changes in accounting regulations, software updates, or company processes is crucial in a dynamic business environment.
- Handling sensitive financial information requires a high level of integrity and adherence to ethical standards.
- Holds self to highest levels of professional code of conduct, ethics, and values, always presenting true information.
- Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
- Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.

**Preferred**:

- 1 - 2 Years of experience in General Accounting, Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.
- Basic accounting knowledge, Data entry skills
- Understanding accounting best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
