**Role Summary**:
The Medical Officer - Acupuncture will be responsible for providing acupuncture-based therapies in accordance with established clinical protocols and individualized patient needs. The role requires in-depth knowledge of acupuncture techniques, patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaborative wellness care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed consultations and assessments of patients to determine suitable acupuncture treatment plans.
- Administer acupuncture therapy in line with clinical standards, safety protocols, and patient comfort.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and progress reports.
- Collaborate with naturopathy, yoga, and other wellness departments to ensure integrated treatment planning.
- Educate patients on acupuncture principles, benefits, and treatment expectations.
- Monitor patient outcomes, modify treatment plans as needed, and ensure overall satisfaction.
- Participate in wellness workshops, staff meetings, and continued learning programs.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and sterilization protocols are consistently followed in the treatment areas.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Acupuncture / Acupuncture & Moxibustion / Traditional Medicine or equivalent (recognized by government/recognized council).
- Valid license/registration (if applicable) to practice acupuncture in India.
- Strong clinical knowledge with practical experience in therapeutic acupuncture.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate approach and commitment to holistic healing.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with multi-disciplinary wellness professionals.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Experience in a wellness retreat, alternative medicine hospital, or integrative medical setting.
- Additional knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine, cupping, moxibustion, or auricular acupuncture.
- Fluent in English and Hindi for patient interaction.
