Medical Code Trainer

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and deliver training programs for medical coding staff on ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and other coding systems.
2. Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and create customized training plans.
3. Develop training materials, manuals, and presentations.
4. Deliver classroom and online training sessions.
5. Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback.
6. Stay updated on coding regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
7. Collaborate with coding staff to resolve coding issues and provide guidance.
8. Develop and maintain training records and reports.
9. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OIG, and other regulatory requirements.
10. Participate in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives.
**Requirements**:
1. Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Coding Educator (CCE) certification.
2. 3+ years of experience in medical coding and training.
3. Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and other coding systems.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
5. Ability to travel (if required).
6. Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
7. Proficiency in MS Office, training software, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs).
2. Familiarity with coding audit and compliance regulations.
3. Experience in adult learning principles and instructional design.
4. Additional certifications (e.g., CDIP, CIC, COC).
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
