The Vice Principal plays a crucial role in the academic and administrative leadership of the Nursing Institute. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong understanding of nursing education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively. The Vice Principal will work closely with the Principal/Director to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the institute, while upholding the highest standards of academic excellence and student support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Academic Leadership**:

- Oversee the academic programs offered by the institute, ensuring curriculum alignment with current industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Guide faculty development initiatives, including workshops, training programs, and mentoring opportunities.
- Supervise and mentor faculty members, providing guidance on teaching methodologies, student assessment, and classroom management.
- Participate in the development and review of academic policies and procedures.
- **Administrative Leadership**:

- Assist the Principal/Director in the overall management and administration of the institute.
- Oversee student admissions, enrollment, and registration processes.
- Manage student affairs, including disciplinary matters, student support services, and counseling.
- Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., finance, HR, facilities) to ensure smooth operational functioning.
- Supervise and manage administrative staff, ensuring their efficient performance.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to academic and administrative activities.
- **Student Support and Development**:

- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Advocate for student needs and concerns.
- Guide students in their academic and professional development.
- Organize and participate in student activities and events.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Conduct internal quality audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Represent the institute at professional conferences and workshops.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in nursing education and best practices.

- Master of Science in Nursing (MSc Nursing) from a recognized university.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in teaching and administrative roles within a nursing education setting.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of nursing education principles, curriculum development, and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to student success and a passion for nursing education.

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience with accreditation processes (e.g., NAAC, INC).
- Knowledge of research methodologies and experience in research supervision.

Pay: ₹23,959.40 - ₹60,295.06 per month
