Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Ultrasonic Testing (UT): Perform UT inspections on mechanical components, welds, and structures to detect defects, cracks, or irregularities.

2. Interpret Test Results: Analyze and interpret test results, identifying defects or anomalies, and recommending corrective actions.

3. Operate and Maintain Equipment: Ensure UT equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated in accordance with manufacturer instructions and industry standards.

4. Record and Report Findings: Accurately record and report test results, including documentation of defects, repairs, and testing procedures.

5. Collaborate with Production Team: Work closely with production personnel to ensure testing is conducted efficiently and effectively, minimizing downtime and optimizing production schedules.

6. Adhere to Safety Protocols: Ensure all testing activities are conducted safely, following established safety procedures and guidelines.

7. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry advancements and new technologies.

**Requirements**:
1. Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field.

2. Certification: NDT UT Level 2 certification from a recognized certification body (e.g., ASNT, BINDT).

3. Experience: 4-5 years of experience in mechanical/production and NDT UT testing.

4. Skills:

- Strong understanding of ultrasonic testing principles and techniques.
- Ability to interpret test results and identify defects or irregularities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

5. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional lifting, bending, and standing required.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Additional NDT certifications: Level 3 certification or other NDT methods (e.g., RT, MT, PT).

2. Industry experience: Experience working in industries such as aerospace, oil and gas, power generation, or automotive.

3. Quality management systems: Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
