The incumbent will be a part of Building Material Testing Lab based at Mahape, Navi Mumbai

He will be responsible for conducting various NDT Tests On-Site as per the SOPs.

Must be well versed with the relevant equipment and applicable procedures. He will have to carry out following tests and maintain the records for the same:

- **Concrete Inspection**: Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and rebound hammer testing to assess the quality and uniformity of concrete, detect voids, cracks, or delamination, and evaluate the thickness of concrete elements.
- **Steel Inspection**: Ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and dye penetrant testing (PT) are employed to examine welds, bolts, and steel components for defects such as cracks, lack of fusion, or inclusions.
- **Weld Inspection**: NDT methods like radiographic testing (RT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) to inspect welded joints for defects, discontinuities, or improper fusion, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of welded connections.
- **Structural Health Monitoring**: NDT methods such as acoustic emission (AE) testing and vibration analysis for continuous monitoring of structural integrity, identifying early signs of damage, fatigue, or deterioration in buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
- **Material Characterization**: NDT techniques like ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), and thermal imaging to assess material properties, identify material anomalies, and verify material composition in construction materials such as concrete, steel, and composites.
