Job Overview: We are seeking a Technician skilled in core cutting and

conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, such as Ultrasonic Pulse

Velocity (UPV) and Rebound Hammer tests. This role is heavily focused on

performing concrete core cutting and assisting in NDT procedures to assess the

structural integrity and quality of concrete.

Key Responsibilities:

- Core Cutting: Perform accurate and efficient on-site concrete core cutting as

the primary responsibility.
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Assist in conducting NDT methods such as

Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) and Rebound Hammer tests under guidance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that testing equipment is properly

maintained, calibrated, and in compliance with industry standards to

guarantee accurate results.
- Data Documentation: Record details of core cutting and test results with

accuracy for reporting purposes.
- Equipment Handling: Ensure proper handling and maintenance of core cutting

and NDT equipment.
- Safety and Quality Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain

adherence to quality standards during testing and core cutting operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete core extraction

and non-destructive testing methods, specifically with UPV and Rebound

Hammer tests. Proficiency in operating NDT equipment, understanding of

testing standards, and familiarity with data analysis software.

Technical Skills:

- Skills: Practical skills in handling core cutting tools and equipment.

Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Soft Skills:
Basic communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients.
