**Job Title**:Montessori Teacher**

**Job Summary**: The Montessori Teacher is responsible for guiding and nurturing children according to Montessori principles, fostering a love for learning, independence, and respect for others. They create a prepared environment that allows children to engage in self-directed learning through hands-on experiences. The teacher observes and supports individual student needs, ensuring each child progresses at their own pace.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Classroom Management**:

- Design and maintain a **prepared environment** according to Montessori guidelines, including the arrangement of learning materials and activities that promote independence.
- Foster an atmosphere of respect and community among students.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and order in the classroom.
- **Student Guidance**:

- Observe and track individual children's developmental progress and tailor learning activities to meet their needs.
- Encourage **self-directed learning** by allowing children to choose activities based on their interests and developmental stage.
- Provide appropriate support and challenge for each child while fostering independence and self-discipline.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Implement the Montessori curriculum, which includes practical life skills, sensory education, language, mathematics, cultural studies, science, and arts.
- Use Montessori materials to teach children in ways that promote exploration, problem-solving, and creativity.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and discuss any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members and administrators to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
- Attend parent-teacher conferences and school events.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in on-going professional development, Montessori training, and workshops to stay updated on best practices in Montessori education.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of each child’s development and progress.
- Prepare progress reports for parents and for internal reviews.

**Qualifications**:

- **Montessori Certification** from an accredited training program
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (preferred).
- Experience working with children in a Montessori setting.
- Strong observational, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for child development and a belief in the Montessori philosophy of education.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to children’s needs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Making lesson plans: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
