**End User support for Citrix Linux and Windows VDI in a 24*7roduction environment.**
**Shifts can be rotational/permanent**.
Collaborate with other technical teams to solve problems and continually evolve the technology.
Respond to alerts, reported issues and escalate problems as required.
**Troubleshooting issues related to LDAP, AD, NFS, Network and XenServers.**
**Create/modify scripts to quicken troubleshooting and resolution of issues.**
**Prepare and maintain documentation of issues and resolutions.**
**End User support for R&D on Windows Platform**
Respond to alerts, reported issues and escalate problems as required.
**Troubleshooting issues related to Windows OS & Basic Virtualization.**
Create/modify scripts to quicken troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
Prepare and maintain documentation of issues and resolutions.

**Basic understanding of Windows OS & Citrix XenDesktop Architecture**:

- Backend components - Delivery Controller, Storefront, PVS**

**Citrix VDA registration and session launch flow (specifically Linux VDI)**

**Experience in configuring and using XenServers / VMware ESXI, knowledge of networking for virtual machines.**

**Scripting Knowledge in PowerShell, Perl, Python, Shell**

**Knowledge of Linux & Windows operating systems.**

**Knowledge on OS Deployment & Patching**

**Knowledge on Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, subnetting, routing and DHCP etc.**

**Knowledge on infrastructure services like AD, LDAP, SAMBA, NFS, X-display troubleshooting.**
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical users.
- Academic degree in Engineering
