**Job Title**: Executive Chef
**Location**: Gurugram
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Menu Development**: Create and maintain an authentic, innovative Italian menu with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
- **Kitchen Operations**: Oversee all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, while ensuring efficiency and adherence to hygiene standards.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of food taste, texture, and presentation to enhance the dining experience.
- **Team Management**: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- **Cost Control**: Manage food costs, inventory, and waste reduction while optimizing ingredient sourcing.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and sanitation requirements.
- **Guest Experience**: Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure guest satisfaction through menu knowledge and excellent service.
- **Innovation**: Stay updated with Italian culinary trends and introduce modern twists to traditional dishes.
- **Vendor Relations**: Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- **Experience**: Minimum of 7 **years** in Italian cuisine, with at least **3 years** in an Executive Chef or Head Chef role.
- **Education**: Culinary degree or equivalent professional training in Italian cuisine preferred.
- **Skills**:
- Expertise in traditional and contemporary Italian cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in cost control and kitchen budgeting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP standards.
**Preferred Attributes**:
- Passionate about Italian gastronomy and fine dining.
- Experience working in high-end restaurants or luxury hotels.
- Ability to innovate while respecting traditional Italian flavors.
- Hands-on leadership with a focus on team development.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Gurugram, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
