Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and modify detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD for chemical plant layouts, piping, and equipment installation.

Develop isometric drawings based on general arrangement (GA) and P&ID diagrams.

Generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for piping, supports, and equipment based on drawings and specifications.

Identify and specify Materials of Construction (MOC) for various piping and equipment based on project and process requirements.

Collaborate with process, piping, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers to finalize drawings.

Ensure drawing documentation complies with relevant standards and project specifications.

Maintain drawing revisions and as-built documentation.

Assist in field measurements and redlining during site visits when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Drafting / Industrial Design or equivalent technical discipline

Proficient in AutoCAD software (2D drafting)

Strong understanding of isometric drawing standards and practices

Familiarity with chemical plant equipment, piping layouts, and structural elements

ION Chemicals

Working knowledge of P&ID symbols and industrial drafting conventions

Ability to identify and interpret Materials of Construction (MOC
- Experience in BOQ preparation from drawings

Good communication skills and team collaboration

Preferred:
Experience working on greenfield or brownfield chemical / process industry projects

Exposure to 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, or E3D) is an advantage

Familiarity with piping class specifications and standards (ASME, ASTM)

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
