Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Marketing
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media marketing strategy to promote the platform and its unique features.
- Create engaging social media content (text, images, and videos) specifically tailored for various platforms to drive user acquisition and brand awareness.
- Manage and maintain the platform's social media presence, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring social media trends and conversations.
- Analyze social media data and engagement metrics to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

Community Strategy & Growth:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive community strategy to attract, engage, and retain a diverse user base. This includes identifying key user segments, crafting targeted outreach campaigns, and implementing growth hacks.
- Proactively cultivate relationships with influencers on the platform, and potential quality writers to enhance the platform's value proposition and attract a wider audience

Content Curation & Programming
- Spearhead content creation for the platform, including polls, Q&A-related posts, thought leadership pieces, and engaging discussions on relevant career topics. Utilize data and user insights to curate content that resonates with specific user needs and interests.
- Should be a skilled writer and content creator with the ability to craft engaging written and visual content across various formats.
- Be a community management thought leader. Research and implement best practices in online community engagement, staying abreast of the latest social media and online trends.

Community Insights, Management & Moderation
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all users. Actively participate in discussions, moderate conversations to ensure adherence to community guidelines, and address user concerns promptly and professionally.
- Become an expert in analyzing user data and engagement metrics. Identify trends, user sentiment, and areas for improvement. Translate these insights into actionable recommendations for platform development and community engagement strategies.

Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the ops, product, and engineering teams to ensure the platform reflects both the needs of the community and the company's vision.
- Establish a communication style that encourages open dialogue, active listening, and respectful consideration of all concerns.
- Active participation in internal meetings is essential. You'll be expected to contribute to discussions, present project updates, and stay informed about cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in social media management with a strong track record of growing online communities.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Significant social media following or experience working for a company with a strong social media presence.
