**Key Responsibilities**
- **Customer Service**:

- **Greeting and Assisting Customers**: Welcome customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs.
- **Product Knowledge**: Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services to effectively answer customer inquiries and provide recommendations.
- **Handling Complaints**: Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner, ensuring a positive resolution.
- **Sales and Transactions**:

- **Sales Transactions**: Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, including handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- **Sales Goals**: Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall sales performance.
- **Upselling and Cross-Selling**: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to enhance the customer’s shopping experience.
- **Product Management**:

- **Stock Management**: Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring shelves are well-organized and products are displayed attractively.
- **Inventory Control**: Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or low stock to management.
- **Product Merchandising**: Set up product displays and promotions to attract customers and drive sales.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- **Cleanliness and Organization**: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including tidying up merchandise and ensuring store areas are presentable.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- **Record Keeping**: Keep accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- **Reporting**: Assist in preparing sales reports and providing feedback on sales trends or customer preferences.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- **Team Support**: Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store staff to achieve common goals and ensure smooth store operations.
- **Training**: Participate in training programs and team meetings to stay updated on new products, sales techniques, and store policies.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications or certifications in retail or sales are a plus.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
