**Job Description**:
**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Facility Operations & Management**:
- Oversee the daily operations of corporate or commercial properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
- Ensure all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety, are functioning properly and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong asset life.
- ** Vendor & Contractor Management**:
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., cleaning, security, landscaping, etc.).
- Monitor the performance of service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Manage work orders and ensure the appropriate prioritization of repairs and maintenance requests.
- ** Budgeting & Financial Management**:
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets for facilities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while meeting operational needs.
- Monitor facility-related expenses, track budgets, and prepare regular financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure that all capital improvements are completed within budget and timelines.
- ** Health, Safety, & Compliance**:
- Ensure that the facility complies with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA and ADA standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on compliance-related matters and certifications.
- ** Space Planning & Utilization**:
- Coordinate space planning efforts to maximize the effective use of facilities, considering employee needs, operational requirements, and corporate strategies.
- Collaborate with internal departments (HR, IT, etc.) to facilitate office layout changes, renovations, and relocations.
- ** Sustainability & Environmental Impact**:
- Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, such as energy conservation, waste reduction, and green building certifications (e.g., LEED).
- Monitor utility usage and identify opportunities for cost-saving and environmental impact reduction.
- ** Project Management**:
- Manage facility-related projects, including office expansions, renovations, and major repairs.
- Work with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to budget.
- Oversee facility moves and transitions to support business growth or restructuring.
- ** Team Leadership & Development**:
- Lead and mentor a team of facility management staff, ensuring high performance and continuous professional development.
- Develop and implement staff training programs to ensure competence in facility-related tasks and compliance with company policies.
- ** Emergency Response & Crisis Management**:
- Develop and implement emergency response procedures for natural disasters, power outages, or other crises.
- Coordinate with local emergency services, building occupants, and senior management to ensure business continuity.
